Objective Fulfilled

Now that the Metropolitan Police and CPS have taken out a prosecution against 4 MP’s we feel we’ve achieved our objectives, and await for Justice to be served. In order to ensure we can not be seen as influencing the trial, all comments on this site have now been disabled.

Many thank to the thousands who have visited the site, signed our petitions both here and on facebook and left messages of support. In the mean time we invite you all to wonder over to www.VisitScunthorpe.Com which is our new community project.

Our Objectives

  1. All Members of Parliament who have chosen to step down over their expenses at the next elections should resign immediately, and by-elections for those areas be held in September.
  2. Members unable to comply with the above should be funded in total by their political parties, not the tax payer. This should include all expenses, re-settlement costs, pensions and severance pay.
  3. Where appropriate, we call on the metropolitan police to investigate allegations of Fraud and take relevant action just as they would against other members of the public

What we are doing

This group was formed by constituents in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, who have now linked up with other groups around the country to provide help and resource to campaign against MP’s who have been caught out in this scandel, but whom refuse to resign.

We encourage all other similar groups and disillusioned constituents from around the UK to join with us to form a national protest group to achieve our aims.

We will provide you with a web site like this one, from which you can publicise your campaign online. This will be freely available to all groups which uphold our objectives and philosophy.

What You can do

  1. Lobby members of parliament - Write to your MP, if he’s standing down insist he does immediately. If he’s not implicated in the scandal, insist that he lobbies his honourable friends to do so.
  2. Organise Nationally to “Clean Up Westminster”.
  3. Petition and leaflet in your community, talk to relatives, friends and colleagues and get them to petition with you.

Press Enquiries

All enquires will be handled by our press officer. Members of the press, post a question here with contact details – we’ll call you.

Political Alliance / Philosophy

We are a none political organisation, we are not promoting the election of any party, group or individual, we are just concerned citizens who demand that our MP’s are accountable and democratic, and that our parliamentary systems are reformed to reflect this. We will work openly and freely with any individual, group of individuals or political party who share our views in addressing this single issue campaign. Unfortunately we currently lack the resource to address the dozens of emails and messages we have recieved regarding other forms of corruption.
